HOTEL MATTERHORN INN, Tasch

The Matterhorn Inn offers a variety of newly renovated rooms. Single rooms (12 sqm) include a single bed and a bathroom with shower, and face north. Double rooms (18 sqm) feature two single beds, a shower, and face north, east, or west. Superior double rooms include a south-facing balcony, two single beds, and a bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Triple rooms (23 sqm) have a south-facing balcony, two single beds, a sofa bed, and a bathroom with a bathtub. Rooms provide free WiFi, a TV, coffee and tea making facilities, telephone, mini bar, iron & ironing board, a safe, and a bathroom with bathtub or shower and a hairdryer. Certain rooms include a seating area.

Guests may enjoy Swiss, Italian, and Portuguese cuisine at Walliserkanne restaurant. The restaurant features a sun terrace and an extensive menu. Guests can choose à la carte options or a daily 3-course menu. Half board, with daily new menus, can be booked for the entire stay at a special price. Matterhorn Inn is located in Täsch, Switzerland, across from Täsch Train Station and the Matterhorn Terminal. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Täsch, and 80 km from Sion. Zermatt, reachable only by shuttle train from Täsch, is 12 minutes away. The Zermatt shuttle train of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn runs every 20 minutes between Täsch and Zermatt. Täsch is the starting point for hikes to the Weisshorn Hut, Täschalp and Pfulwe. The Beach Club at the Schalisee, with water ski and wakeboard lift, is nearby. There are 20 km of cross-country ski runs between Täsch and Randa.
