The Zermatt shuttle train of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn runs every 20 minutes between Täsch and Zermatt. Täsch is the starting point for hikes to the Weisshorn Hut, Täschalp, and Pfulwe. Zermatt is accessible only by shuttle train from Täsch. The hotel is 80 km from Sion. There are 20 km of cross-country ski runs between Täsch and Randa. Guests can visit the Beach Club at the Schalisee with water ski and wakeboard lift.
